Dear Friend,

I’ve been dreaming of this day for over 7 years now…

And, finally, the day is here!

You see, back in 2008 I quit my job as Wellness Director in a treatment center…

And embarked on a journey as a spiritual teacher.

Since then, I’ve led countless “Satsang” talks.

(Many under the full moon here in Boynton Beach, Florida. Maybe you were here with me?)

And I’ve mentored hundreds of students.

It was not an “easy” path.

But it was an incredibly fulfilling one.

Throughout the years, I’ve been fortunate enough to help people reduce their depression and anxiety…

I’ve helped people improve their relationships with their parents… their children… their coworkers…

And I’ve helped people find clarity. And to make meaningful change in their lives.

However, the dream has always been…

How can I help raise the consciousness of humanity and help more people?

At no time has this been truer than now…

State of the World
(Step One…)

As I’m sure you’ve noticed…

All is not well here in America.

Or, in the world, for that matter!

You can feel the tension in the air…

The animosity.

Division.

Hatred.

For all those that don’t share the same ideals.

For all those who aren’t on the same “side.”

But I’m not here today to get political.

I’m here to get personal…

You see, if we want to change anything in the world, the first step is to change ourselves…

Listen…

I don’t know where I was before I came to this world.

And I don’t know where I’ll go after.

But I do know this…

If we’re here now, we might as well be happy, right?

Right!

What could be simpler and more obvious?

Why, then, are so few of us happy?

Why are depression rates at all-time highs?

Why are so many people lonely?

While many factors come into play…

At the core, I believe it’s because most of us were simply never taught to be happy.

It’s true!

Did You Learn this in School?

Look.

I don’t know about you…

But I sure as heck never got a “class” on happiness in school.

In high school, it was all about survival!

Wouldn’t it have been nice if someone had taught us how to be happy?

If someone taught how to see things clearly…

Had given you tools in order to help empower yourself?

I never got those tools.

And, as a result, my life was hard.

Harder than it needed to be, at least.

It took me years of exploration and self-introspection to finally find the “secret” behind happiness.

And not just temporary happiness—the kind you might have gotten going out at the bar with friends…

But lasting happiness.

The kind you can create yourself.

Actively.

And every single day.

Here’s what I learned…

The List that
Can Change Your Life!

It sounds simple, but…

Did you know a single list can change your life?

Back in 2009, the New England Journal of Medicine found that, by implementing a simple checklist…

The rates of in-hospital deaths were cut almost by half.

HALF!

Just think…

A simple checklist can (and does) SAVE lives!

Why?

Because lists work.

Think about it…

Would you ever step on a plane if you knew the pilot didn’t follow a checklist?

If he or she wasn’t double (or triple!) checking things?

Of course not!

Well, at least I know I wouldn’t!

Why then, do most of us go through our lives not following a list?

A list that can lead to a new and different destination…

A destination of joy.

My Personal “Zen List”
(The Strangest Fact You’ve Ever Heard…)

Here’s a strange fact.

Possibly the strangest fact you’ve ever heard, but…

Happiness is a SKILL.

It might sound funny, but you have to practice being happy!

It doesn’t come easy.

You see, years ago I came out of high school in a tailspin.

I was confused.

Angry.

And every new job I tried was the same shade of grey.

In short, my life “sucked”!

Eventually I was diagnosed with dysthymia, which is a mild form of depression.

And while I was given meds to treat the illness, for me, it just didn’t work.

And I stayed in the same funk.

What did work?

Exercise.

Eating better.

Things we all know we should be doing. But few of us do as regularly as we should.

However, it wasn’t just this…

In total, I discovered 8 simple steps that…

When followed…

Would almost guarantee I felt better.

I call this the “Zen List.”

And it’s been the foundation of my teaching for years now.

Does it Work?

Now, you might be wondering…

Can something as simple as the “Zen List” work?

While I can say with 100% certainty it’s worked for me—It’s added such color and vitality to my life that it’s now become the FOUNDATION for how I start my days.

Who cares about me!
