Iāve been dreaming of this day for over 7 years nowā¦

You see, back in 2008 I quit my job as Wellness Director in a treatment centerā¦
And embarked on a journey as a spiritual teacher.
Since then, Iāve led countless āSatsangā talks.

And Iāve mentored hundreds of students.
It was not an āeasyā path.
But it was an incredibly fulfilling one.
Throughout the years, Iāve been fortunate enough to help people reduce their depression and anxietyā¦

And Iāve helped people find clarity. And to make meaningful change in their lives.
However, the dream has always beenā¦
How can I help raise the consciousness of humanity and help more people?
At no time has this been truer than nowā¦
State of the World

All is not well here in America.
Or, in the world, for that matter!
You can feel the tension in the airā¦
The animosity.
Division.
Hatred.
For all those that donāt share the same ideals.
For all those who arenāt on the same āside.ā
But Iām not here today to get political.
Iām here to get personalā¦

You see, if we want to change anything in the world, the first step is to change ourselvesā¦
Listenā¦
I donāt know where I was before I came to this world.
And I donāt know where Iāll go after.
But I do know thisā¦
If weāre here now, we might as well be happy, right?
Right!
What could be simpler and more obvious?
Why, then, are so few of us happy?
Why are depression rates at all-time highs?
Why are so many people lonely?
While many factors come into playā¦
At the core, I believe itās because most of us were simply never taught to be happy.
Itās true!
Did You Learn this in School?
Look.
I donāt know about youā¦
But I sure as heck never got a āclassā on happiness in school.
In high school, it was all about survival!
Wouldnāt it have been nice if someone had taught us how to be happy?
If someone taught how to see things clearlyā¦

I never got those tools.
And, as a result, my life was hard.
Harder than it needed to be, at least.
It took me years of exploration and self-introspection to finally find the āsecretā behind happiness.
And not just temporary happinessāthe kind you might have gotten going out at the bar with friendsā¦
But lasting happiness.
The kind you can create yourself.
Actively.
And every single day.

The List that
Can Change Your Life!
It sounds simple, butā¦
Did you know a single list can change your life?
Back in 2009, the New England Journal of Medicine found that, by implementing a simple checklistā¦
The rates of in-hospital deaths were cut almost by half.
HALF!

A simple checklist can (and does) SAVE lives!
Why?
Because lists work.
Think about itā¦
Would you ever step on a plane if you knew the pilot didnāt follow a checklist?
If he or she wasnāt double (or triple!) checking things?
Of course not!
Well, at least I know I wouldnāt!
Why then, do most of us go through our lives not following a list?
A list that can lead to a new and different destinationā¦
A destination of joy.

My Personal āZen Listā
(The Strangest Fact Youāve Ever Heardā¦)

Hereās a strange fact.
Possibly the strangest fact youāve ever heard, butā¦
Happiness is a SKILL.
It might sound funny, but you have to practice being happy!
It doesnāt come easy.
You see, years ago I came out of high school in a tailspin.

I was confused.
Angry.
And every new job I tried was the same shade of grey.
In short, my life āsuckedā!
Eventually I was diagnosed with dysthymia, which is a mild form of depression.
And while I was given meds to treat the illness, for me, it just didnāt work.
And I stayed in the same funk.
What did work?
Exercise.
Eating better.
Things we all know we should be doing. But few of us do as regularly as we should.
However, it wasnāt just thisā¦
In total, I discovered 8 simple steps thatā¦
When followedā¦
Would almost guarantee I felt better.
I call this the āZen List.ā
And itās been the foundation of my teaching for years now.

Does it Work?
Now, you might be wonderingā¦
Can something as simple as the āZen Listā work?

While I can say with 100% certainty itās worked for meāItās added such color and vitality to my life that itās now become the FOUNDATION for how I start my days.
Who cares about me!

Have you ever been taught meditation is all about āclearing the mindā or trying to āsit stillā?
No!
While Iāll never say there is any ābadā meditation.
(Any attempt to quiet your mind and slow down in this ever fast-paced world is always a good thing!)
To me, meditation serves ONE single and key purpose.
