Privacy Policy

Practical Buddha Inc. · Policy copy V3 · Effective date: pending adoption

Working draft — owner review Not adopted as official policy. Marked details below still need confirmation before publication.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Practical Buddha Inc. (“Practical Buddha,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.practicalbuddha.com. This policy covers its public pages, signup and contact forms, member portal, course and membership purchases, and related email communications. Practical Buddha—not Kajabi—is the business offering the teachings and products.

Our separate mobile-app privacy notice addresses the app as described there. This website policy does not replace that notice or describe every external service linked from our pages. The separate app notice requires app users to be at least 18; that rule is not extended to website accounts or newsletter subscriptions by this draft.

Owner completion: Confirm the intended website audience and eligibility rules for forms, newsletter subscriptions, accounts, purchases and community participation, including any handling of minors' information.

2. Information you provide

When you request the free meditation or subscribe to Along the Path, we receive the email address and any other information you enter in the signup form. Our contact form requests your name, email address, phone number and message. We receive what you choose to submit so we can respond.

Our website uses native Kajabi forms. Information submitted through those forms is processed through Kajabi for Practical Buddha. When you create or use a member account, Kajabi processes account and sign-in information needed to provide access to the courses or membership available to you.

Purchases use Kajabi checkout and the payment provider selected for that checkout. Information entered may include your contact details, billing details and payment information. The checkout and payment services process information needed to complete the transaction; Practical Buddha uses purchase records to provide the purchased offering and help with purchase questions. The precise payment fields and handling depend on the checkout used.

Posts you share in the Radiant Life community are visible to other Radiant Life members. This is different from sending a private account or support inquiry. Consider that audience before posting personal information.

Participants in live events are recorded.

Owner completion: Explain what each event recording captures, who can access replays or archives, whether future members or downloads are included, and the notice and permission process. Confirm any separate permission for public or promotional reuse; this draft does not establish that permission.

Please do not include passwords, full payment-card details or sensitive health information in a contact message.

3. Why information is used

Information is used to deliver content you request, send the newsletter and updates described at signup, respond to inquiries, administer purchases and provide member access. Account and transaction information also supports sign-in, access checks and purchase-related support.

The website platform and protective technologies support website operation and help detect automated abuse. Information needed to run these functions is processed by the providers involved, as described below.

4. Kajabi and other service providers

Kajabi provides the platform used to host the website and operate native forms, member accounts, sign-in, course and membership access, and offer checkout. For creator customer data processed on our behalf, Kajabi acts as a processor under its Data Protection Addendum: it processes that data according to the creator's instructions to provide the service.

That description is specific to customer data processed for Practical Buddha. It does not mean Kajabi acts only as a processor for every type of information. Its addendum separately describes certain contact and service-generated data processed by Kajabi in its own role. Kajabi's general privacy notice is not a replacement for Practical Buddha's notice to its customers.

Some pages include Wistia video technology and Google reCAPTCHA. These services may receive technical information when their features load or are used. Their own privacy notices explain their services: Kajabi, Wistia and Google.

Owner completion: Confirm the active payment configuration and related data handling. For AI Tommy, identify the actual conversation provider, information collected or sent to providers, uses, who can view conversations, retention/deletion and any required user choices before completing its privacy disclosures.

5. Cookies and technical information

Cookies and similar technologies support website functions such as maintaining sign-in and account sessions. Platform and embedded services may also process technical information, such as browser or device information, network addresses and activity connected with their features. Video, security and analytics components can have different purposes; they should not all be treated as necessary cookies.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking them may affect sign-in or other features. Browser controls do not necessarily stop every form of collection or replace any consent or opt-out required by applicable law.

Owner completion: Confirm actual cookie/tracking settings and required controls, any legally defined sale/sharing or targeted advertising, and relevant international processing disclosures. A configured cookie-consent banner or site-wide tracking opt-out has not been confirmed.

6. Email choices

Signup descriptions explain the requested content and any accompanying updates. You can use the unsubscribe link or email preferences provided in a message to change your promotional-email choices. You can also contact us through the route below if you need help.

Unsubscribing from promotional messages does not itself cancel a purchase or membership. Messages needed for an account, requested service or transaction are distinct from promotional mail.

Owner completion: Confirm enabled email services and form automations, whether additional promotional sequences are sent, and the unsubscribe link and handling in a real sent email.

7. Security and retention

Kajabi documents technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including encryption in transit and at rest for data covered by its stated measures. This is a description of the provider's safeguards, not a claim that Practical Buddha's entire website or every connected service has been independently audited. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure. Keep your sign-in details private.

While you remain subscribed to the newsletter, we keep the contact information needed to deliver it.

Owner completion: Supply actual retention periods or meaningful deletion criteria for unsubscribed contacts and any suppression records, accounts and purchased-access records, purchase/refund and support records, community posts, event recordings and relevant backups. Confirm the provider deletion/backup process; Kajabi's own retention provisions do not establish Practical Buddha's business policy. No proposed suppression practice or deletion deadline is adopted here.

8. Privacy requests and contact

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction or deletion of personal information, or other rights and choices. Applicable conditions and exceptions can affect a request. For information processed through Kajabi for Practical Buddha, direct your request to Practical Buddha rather than treating Kajabi as the seller or policy contact.

Contact Practical Buddha Inc. through our contact page, or by mail at 303 E Woolbright Rd #231, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Our contact route is monitored for privacy and customer-support requests. Describe your question or request without sending unnecessary sensitive information.

9. Changes

An adopted policy will show its effective date. Future revisions will reflect actual changes in practices. Material changes may require additional notice or consent; publishing a new version does not automatically remove earlier privacy commitments.
