1. Practical Buddha and the website
Practical Buddha Inc. (“Practical Buddha,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates www.practicalbuddha.com and offers educational content, the free meditation, Along the Path, courses and memberships. These terms describe the rules for using its public pages, forms, member portal and content.
Kajabi supplies the technology for website hosting, native forms, member accounts, sign-in, offer checkout and course/membership access. Practical Buddha—not Kajabi—is the business offering our teachings and products. Kajabi's platform capabilities do not determine your purchase's price, duration or promises.
Specific terms presented and agreed to for an offering apply to that offering. These general terms do not override a purchase commitment, guarantee or right that cannot be waived under applicable law. They do not replace separate mobile-app or app-store terms.
2. Education, not medical care
The website, meditation, newsletter and course materials are for education and general well-being. They are not medical or mental-health treatment, diagnosis or individualized professional advice, or a substitute for care from a qualified professional familiar with your circumstances.
Do not delay or disregard professional care because of our content. Seek appropriate advice before changing treatment or medication. If a practice causes distress or feels unsuitable, stop and seek appropriate guidance. For an emergency or immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis service.
Experiences differ; our content does not guarantee a particular health, emotional or other result. This boundary does not cancel any specific refund guarantee or purchase promise made to you.
Owner completion: Confirm AI Tommy's role, user-facing limitations, permitted use and any additional rules. Do not present unverified AI capabilities or health outcomes as promises.
3. Accounts and member access
Kajabi supports account setup and sign-in so members can access the products available to their account. Follow your offering's account instructions and use an email address you can access. Account-creation timing and post-purchase instructions can vary with offer settings.
Provide accurate account information and keep sign-in details private. Use only accounts and content you are authorized to access. Do not share credentials to give someone access outside your purchase's permissions; any expressly offered gift or sharing rights remain available.
Contact us if you suspect unauthorized access or cannot reach purchased content. Do not send your password in a support message.
The separate mobile-app notice requires app users to be at least 18. This draft does not extend that app rule to the broader website, accounts or newsletter subscriptions.
Owner completion: Confirm eligibility for website use, newsletter subscriptions, accounts, purchases and community participation, including any permitted supervised use or minors' accounts.
4. Free content and email
Request the meditation or subscribe to Along the Path through the available native Kajabi signup forms. Read the form's description of content and accompanying updates before submitting details. Our website privacy policy, when adopted, will explain how related personal information is handled.
Use the unsubscribe link or email preferences provided in a message to change promotional-email choices. Contact us if you need help. Unsubscribing from promotional email does not cancel a paid membership or recurring charge; follow the particular purchase's cancellation terms.
Owner completion: Confirm any additional promotional sequences and verify a real sent email's unsubscribe behavior.
5. Purchases, renewals and refunds
Purchases use Kajabi checkout and the payment provider selected for that checkout. Review the specific offer, checkout disclosures and additional terms before purchasing. They describe the price, what is included and access provided.
A recurring subscription, trial or renewal applies only as disclosed and agreed for that offering. An annual or periodic price alone does not establish automatic renewal. These general terms create no billing frequency, minimum commitment, trial, cancellation deadline or default refund rule.
Cancellation, continued access and refunds depend on applicable purchase terms and law. An existing guarantee or individual commitment remains relevant even if a later general policy differs. This includes the money-back guarantee and other benefits promised with an applicable Radiant Life purchase; this draft does not reduce those commitments or settle unresolved renewal-refund treatment. For purchase questions, identify the offering and checkout email; do not include full payment-card details.
Owner completion: Reconcile active and legacy offer/checkout wording, including annual renewal pricing and consent, cancellation steps, refund treatment, access duration and included benefits. Resolve conflicting copy without changing existing purchasers' agreed terms. Product-specific refund proposals and any renewal-refund window remain undecided and are not adopted here.
6. Personal use and content rights
Website text, recordings, videos, artwork, course materials and branding may be protected by copyright, trademark and other rights belonging to Practical Buddha or relevant rights holders. Access or purchase does not transfer ownership of those rights.
You may view materials for personal, noncommercial use within your granted access. If an offering expressly includes downloads, you may download and use those files for that personal purpose, consistent with purchase terms. Download permission does not permit resale or public distribution.
Unless permission or applicable law allows it, do not copy, redistribute, sell or publicly post protected materials, or provide unauthorized course access. These terms do not restrict your rights under copyright law. Kajabi's technology role does not itself grant visitors rights to Practical Buddha's teachings.
Owner completion: Confirm offering-specific download, gift and sharing permissions and any third-party content licenses.
7. Respectful and lawful use
Do not use the website to break the law, impersonate someone, infringe rights, harass or threaten others, send spam, interfere with security or attempt unauthorized access. Use forms for their intended purposes.
Submit only information or files you are entitled to share. We may process your submission to respond and provide the requested service. Sending a private inquiry does not, by these terms, permit us to publish it as a testimonial or use it in advertising.
Posts you share in the Radiant Life community are visible to other Radiant Life members. Consider that audience before posting personal information. These general terms do not transfer ownership of your posts to Practical Buddha or grant a blanket public-marketing release.
Participants in live events are recorded. Recording an event is not, by itself, unlimited permission for every later use. These general terms do not grant new or retroactive rights to reuse participant recordings.
Owner completion: Confirm community permissions and moderation rules, advance recording notice/agreement, what is captured, replay audience, downloads and retention. Decide whether and how separate public-use permission will be obtained; do not assume existing recordings carry broader permission.
8. Availability and external services
Access may be interrupted by maintenance, technical problems or provider outages. If a paid offering is affected, contact us; these terms do not remove purchase-specific access commitments or applicable remedies.
Some pages use Wistia video or Google reCAPTCHA and may link to external services with their own terms and privacy practices. Their inclusion does not promise uninterrupted availability or that we control their operation.
9. Changes and contact
An adopted version will show its effective date. Future material changes will be communicated when required, and any required agreement obtained. A later revision does not automatically rewrite an earlier purchase agreement or remove rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
